Dear friend,
Thanks to your generous support, we are continuing our relief efforts in Ukraine and Hungary. This time, we would like to share the medical assistance support we have carried out.
Terra Renaissance supported a hospital in Kyoto, Japan named Rakwakai Otowa Hospital to deliver medical supplies to its sister hospital “Clinica No. 10 Hospital” in Kyiv.
After the Russian invasion began in February, members of Rakwakai Otowa Hospital contacted the Clinica No. 10 Hospital in Kyiv and received a report on the current status of the hospital receiving wounded soldiers and a list of medical supplies that were in short supply.
Upon receiving this request, the Rakuwakai members immediately procured surgical tools, medical gowns, and other medical supplies. However, it was not easy to secure transportation. Terra Renaissance, therefore, introduced appropriate logistics companies and provided transportation support
After procuring and packaging the medical supplies, preparing and processing various documents to clear customs, and coordinating.
the timing of transportation, a total of 106 cardboard boxes containing scalpels, needles, surgical gowns, and arthroscopic drapes were delivered to the Clinica No. 10 Hospital in Kyiv.
The hospital director, doctors, and nurses commented that the delivered supplies were of high quality and ready to use, that the instructions were written in English that could be read properly (a language they could read), that the packaging was careful, organized, and tidy, and that it was clear that the Rakwakai people had prepared these items with the actual users in mind.
Seeing everyone at the hospital so happy to receive such support made us feel proud that we were able to be a part of this support
Seeing the joy on the faces of the people at the hospital that received this support made us proud that we were able to play a part in this support.
We hope that peace will come to Ukraine as soon as possible.
