For example, after the earthquake in the border region between Turkey and Syria a year ago. Our alliance organizations immediately provided emergency aid here: the helpers cleared away rubble, searched for buried victims, built emergency shelters and provided families with food and water. That is why acute emergency aid has now been transferred to medium and long-term projects. This includes rebuilding houses and infrastructure, providing psychosocial support and distributing cash.
