Improving Digital Skills

By Juan Albino | Project Leader

We are excited to share the accomplishments of the computer workshop at our home! During this quarter, we have provided computer education to 32 children and adolescents in vulnerable situations. During classes, we have taught basic computer topics, such as the use of office software, word processors, and concepts about PC components.
During the quarter, our participants have learned about the following basic computer topics:
Parcels: We have taught the use of office automation programs, such as word processors and spreadsheets. This has enabled them to create documents, edit them and present effectively.
Word processors: We have taught them how to use word processors to create documents. This has helped them improve their writing skills and present school work more clearly.
PC Components: We have taught them about the different components of a computer. We have also taught them how to properly care for and maintain a computer.
Thanks to your support, we have managed to positively impact our participants. Some of the results and benefits obtained are:
Improvement in the use of parcel tools, which facilitates the completion of school tasks and future job opportunities.
Development of writing and communication skills using word processors.
Strengthening of basic mathematical skills and improvement in problem solving.
Knowledge of computer components and basic maintenance skills.
Increased confidence and ability to use technology effectively.
We appreciate your continued support, as your contribution has made it possible to provide these computer learning opportunities to the children and adolescents in our home. Your generosity is making a significant difference in their lives!
