The health facility managed by SORD in the Al-Ara region recorded a noticeable increase in the number of malnourished children who were registered during the month of August, as the health unit received 230 children (80 males, 150 females), 49 of whom had SAM (14 males, 35 females). ) and MAM 78 children (31 males, 47 females) and 103 normal children (38 males, 65 females), bringing the total number of children under treatment to 183 children suffering from SAM and 385 children suffering from MAM .

The health unit recorded record recovery cases during the month of August compared to the level of donations we received, as 25 children (12 males, 13 females) recovered.

The health unit also received 163 malnourished pregnant and lactating women, including 58 pregnant and 105 lactating women. 345 women were educated about the dangers of malnutrition and how to prevent it, in addition to providing awareness on how to prevent the emerging corona virus and the importance of adherence to hygiene Personality at the level of the child and the mother.

At the end of this monthly briefing, we once again draw your attention to the fact that our efforts to save children who are at risk of death due to lack of food depend greatly on your generous support, which greatly helps to restore life to sick children.
