Dear Friends,
The building work on the Herat office continues and is nearing completion. The top most floor will house the new TV Meraj station. The building already houses the private Radio Meraj so the TV station is hooked up to that antenna.
Staff are putting together programming and have expanded the range of topics they want to include. Additional topics added more recently to the list include: computers, IT and software security, election information, citizenship, good governance, health, democracy issues, economic issues and child programs.
Everyone is excited to have the TV station broadcast its first show. “We want this TV station to be for all people. We hope they will enjoy the shows and learn something and feel able to contribute by calling in. All people need to be lifelong learners.”
