The Afghan Institute of Learning's motive was to reach hundreds of thousands of young Afghan Women to be taught education, however as new restrictions were set by the new government that did not allow girls from middle school grade seven through highschool and University. This had set a huge setback on our motive to reach these young determined girls, wanting a chance to be like every other girl in the world and just go to school.
That was when AIL came up with the solution of broadcasting education on live television, where you didn't have to leave your house in order to learn, and just stay at home and watch television all the while your learning online. This solution and goal of AIL has now reached over 2 million viewers globally, not even the ones in the country by itself, you've people from Turkey, Indonesia, and Pakistan watching.
Many viewers have sent back mail to the broadcasting station on giving their gratitude of being able to learn various different subjects on education, and that they enjoy watching TV Meraj. But it's to those that are fortunate enough that have the technology to watch live, however it has been AIL's number one priority to reach all of those young individuals that are determined in having an education.
Thank you for your interest in Afghan Women, and the younger generation.
