Radio Meraj has provided school lessons in its programming, helping students keep up with their studies while schools were closed.
Habibullah from Enjil District says, "We have four children in our family who, since the outbreak of the coronavirus and the closure of schools, have only listened to your radio programs, especially the school subjects. From evaluating their lessons and teaching I was surprised to see that they have learned very well. When I asked them, they said that they listened to Radio Meraj and its learning programs and we are now good at our school lessons. So I called the station to express appreciation for your service and hard work. I believe that Meraj’s presence is necessary for having a bright vision in Afghanistan. “
This is part of its work related to Covid-19 which includes spreading virus information and providing a call-in option for people with virus rules reporting or need for information. TV Meraj helped by providing video clips related to the virus.
