The Donate Tri-Motor Bikes project aims to enhance mobility and accessibility for persons with disabilities (PWDs) in Pakistan.
Objectives:
To provide tri-motor bikes to PWDs to improve their mobility and independence.
To raise awareness about the rights and needs of PWDs in Pakistan.
To promote inclusivity and accessibility in transportation infrastructure and services.
Progress Overview:
1. Distribution of Tri-Motor Bikes: Since the project's initiation, a total of 05 tri-motor bikes have been distributed to PWDs across different regions of Pakistan. Recipients were selected based on assessments of their mobility needs and financial constraints, prioritizing individuals with limited access to transportation. Each tri-motor bike was customized to suit the specific requirements of the recipient, ensuring optimal comfort and usability.
2. Awareness and Advocacy: Conducted awareness campaigns in collaboration with local disability rights organizations, media outlets, and government agencies to raise awareness about the challenges faced by PWDs in accessing transportation. Organized workshops and seminars to advocate for inclusive policies and infrastructure improvements to facilitate the mobility of PWDs. Collaborated with policymakers and stakeholders to integrate the perspectives and needs of PWDs into transportation planning and development initiatives.
