Cultivate Plants- Cultivate Peace in Ethiopia

MHO is women-headed a non-governmental, organization established in 2011 with the mission of Empowering and changing the personal-social, and economic status of all women and children of Ethiopia who live in poverty by giving them opportunities and supports which lead to development.  MHO was founded by a role model woman, who had long been served in Ethiopia Red Cross.  She is currently considered by many Ethiopian as 'mothers' to Ethiopia's most vulnerable and kids. . Since its establishment, the organization has implemented programs /projects mainly focusing on addressing the felt needs of targeted women and children. For nearly more than one decade the organization has performed commendable jobs providing both institutional and community-based support to orphan and vulnerable children and destitute women. Due to multifaceted current problem in Ethiopia currently, MHO has implemented programs /projects mainly focusing on addressing the felt needs of targeted women and children

To address these unmated needs MHO has tried its best to mobilize resources and solicited funds through a GlobalGiving platform by Posting three projects entitled

1)      Educate Ethiopia Children One Pack for One Child- with Project #51516

2)      Improve Girls' Education in Ethiopia with Project #52328

3)      Cultivate Plants- Cultivate Peace in Ethiopia  with #53118

Since members of GlobalGiving   Meseret Humanitarian Organization with kind support raised money Total Donations of $24,033 under the   Project #51516 and Project #52328.

However, under the project entitled “Cultivate Plants- Cultivate Peace in Ethiopia” with project #53118 yet we are not raised money to implement stated activists to achieve the desired objectives?

We note with pleasure that our joint engagements in the interventions with the two projects through previous donations have born fruit and attained the desired outcomes and impacts and already benefited thousands of venerable children and impoverished mothers. Currently, Money Ethiopians are witnessing these two projects currently enabled thousands of vulnerable and needy children to properly attend their education as equal as their peers as well as achieve better academic results. Despite incredible work in raising money on the two projects, no effort has been made to raise money for the project Entitled “Cultivate Plants- Cultivate Peace in Ethiopia “with Project #52328.

Challenges in Reporting Period

• Focusing on the two projects
• Not utilize the potential of   the little by the little campaign platform  for fundraising
• The project not well promoted on social media
• Poor internet connectivity in Ethiopia due to multiple crises in Ethiopia to continue to engage and build potential donors
