Covid-19 relief for families in remote area

Project Process

1. Arrange a meeting to plan for the Project procedures.
2. Collect data online and through local network on people around different areas of Thailand who are affected by Covid; collecting their personal, family, and community data.
3. Review the data for the acceptance process.
4. Proceed in helping the people with the cooperation of Partner Organization and local organizations.
5. Visit and follow up the result of the process.
6. Evaluate the Project process.

This project aims to help 1,000 people who are affected by Covid-19 (individuals and families). The target groups are those who are in isolation due to being at risk of getting infected, a family member is infected, or those who have lost their source of income due to Covid.

The expected results after conducting the project:

• Beneficiaries would have received hygienic support to be safe from getting infected.
• Beneficiaries would have received sufficient food during the isolation.
• Beneficiaries would have an increase in their income to be able to take care of their family and saved from the crisis.

For 2021,since the beginning the organisation has handed out 209 relief bags for those who have to be quarantined at home and those who lack income from work, 8,617 face masks for children and adults and 173 bags of alcohol gel. The organisation has ended the distribution of necessities since end of December onwards.

Report for Covid-19 Relief

Chiang Rai province/ Roi-et province

OB staff distributed 750 masks and 37 hygiene kits to 2 local churches benefiting about 480 individuals.

Srisaket province, Bangkok province

OB staff distributed 750 masks and 7 hygiene kits to 3 local churches benefiting about 229individuals.

Samut Prakan province

OB staff distributed 370 masks and 90 hygiene kits to Klong Luang Samut Prakan church benefiting about 400individuals.

Ruamjai Phatthana community, Bangkok province

Our team brought 96 boxes of face masks and 20 packs of Andrographis paniculata

(2,000 capsules to Mr. Pruk (Nickname) the community leader to allocate to members of the community to alleviate the initial difficulties. There was talk of establishing a community isolation center. Community leaders have informed that it is negotiating with temples and schools for a facility to separate infected people from the community.  According to measures to reduce the epidemic after the community isolation was established.  Our team will coordinate to help support some equipment needed in the future.

Srisaket province/ Ubon Ratchathani province

OB staff distributed 1,298 masks and 9 hygiene kits to 3 local churches church benefiting about 415 individuals.

Roi-et province

OB staff distributed 100 masks and 15 hygiene kits Moung Thai Nong Pok church benefiting about 40 individuals.

Pathum wan,Bangkok province

We joined with our CBN host to provide 100 boxes of food for 100 homeless at central train station benefitting 100 individuals.

Muang Ayutthaya,Ayutthaya province

OB staff distributed 30 Gallon of 70% alcohol to Mr. Rung(Nickname) to prevent the epidemic in prisons in the Ayutthaya area benefiting 2,500 individuals.

 CURRENT PROJECT/PROGRAM OBJECTIVES/GOALS :

• OB plans to distribute masks, disinfection items and food package to individual and families those are in Home Isolation or Community Isolation, field hospital and local churches in the high-risk area in 29 provinces. 
• OB staffs will follow up the previous cases that we gave the support to them.
