The COVID 19 crisis threatend everyone's way of life, especially women who were already vulnerable and those with casual jobs. Through your continued support we ware able to ensure the most vulnerable people within our communities particularly women, children, the elderly and socially excluded) threatened by the virus, have better access to food supply, better sanitation products and credible reliable, accurate, timely and effective information so that they could make informed decisions in regards to the pandemic.
The Food Pack tergeted Families whose children are part of Project Elimu and the surrounding community mainly people living with disabilities, sick people.
Besides the food pack we are now also conducting an open Kitchen program tergeting adolecent youth This has been able to curb teenage pregnancy because they have access to food at the centre and also it created an opportunity for the project Elimu beneficiaries to spend time together in the kitchen enjoying conversation that gave them chances to pause and focus on the simple things.
