The work flow just became much easier thanks to the generous donation which provided for the first purchase of a new computer for GRACE in Thailand.
Our director was elated to purchase the first computer for GRACE. We found an IT store in Korat and sorted through the various computer models to find the best computer for our intended workload. We found it! A computer with bilingual keyboard provides excellent teaching and learning platforms.
We also received a donated used laptop. This laptop provides for teaching students in Korat. The teacher is utilizing projection image linked to the computer to enhance English language learning skills and basic computer navigation. Now, with computers in both FRCs we are able to introduce the children and staff to beginner skills. Playing English language games online also provides for fun in learning.
We have established WiFi in the locations. The wifi service meets our current needs. As we open the computer lab room, we will need to expand the utilities in order to support the electrical and cyber needs.
We will keep you posted as we continue to expand the program. Thank you for your generous support in making this dream a reality.
