We are grateful to God for entrusting us with the responsibility of compassionately caring for and transforming the lives of the children in our care. We strive to meet each child's unique needs individually, while also providing comprehensive support to the 106 children who rely directly on the foundation for their daily essentials.

Basic needs

Thanks to your generous donations, we are able to provide these children with food, clothing, medical care, diapers, and toiletries—ensuring their basic needs are consistently met.

Our caregiving team consists of 10 dedicated individuals who serve as daytime classroom facilitators, work as night matrons to offer care and supervision, and handle the children’s laundry during the day. Each one plays a vital role in creating a nurturing and supportive environment.

Therapy med-care and rehabilitation services

Alongside our caregivers, we have a team of three dedicated therapists who work closely with the classroom facilitators to support the children’s development. There is an individual Rehabilitation therapy plan (IRP) for each child.  Our current therapy team includes a physiotherapist and two occupational therapists.

We have two nurses who alternate day and night to care for the children constantly as majority have health needs that cannot be ignored.

 Rehema Clinic

We were able to organize the clinic and we have equipped it with the essential drugs and supplies.

The Homes and the School Maintenance

We are committed to maintaining clean, safe, and decent living and learning environments in both the homes and the school.  This has meant ensuring supplies for hygiene and sanitation are available, supporting the matrons and facilitators to ensure cleanliness all times and order. A notable improvement has been seen in the three dormitories and also the six classes.

The Children's Edication

We deeply value the education of our children and are grateful for the support that helps meet each child's individual educational needs. Our education team plays a key role in developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), which allow us to place each child in an environment where their specific learning needs are effectively addressed.

Currently, several children are enrolled in our center-based schooling program, particularly those with cerebral palsy, autism, and intellectual disabilities.

The physically challenged are integrated in community schools where we pay their school fees.

 Repairs, maintenance and development projects

We were able to repair our drainage system and address flooding issues. We also repaired our energy-saving stoves and oven, relocated the water boiler to an outside space, and de-congested the kitchen.

We appreciate every donation, every thought, and every improvement—it all makes a positive impact on the lives of the children.

May God bless you abundantly
