Dear friends,
How can we thank you enough? Through your incredible generosity the goal has been met. Dining Room for Senior Citizens San Pedro Claver in Quito, Ecuador, will soon receive a check for $14,000 so they can start the installation of a much needed Cold Room for their dining room which serves 70-80 seniors daily. No more dealing with anticuated appliances, breakdowns, inefficient refrigerators and freezers, wasted food. The staff will be there, not to resolve those issuses but to care for the seniors.
The sum of $13,142 was raised through GlobalGiving and the remaining $858 were provided from EVA's recent fundraising event on October 14, of this year. We are attaching a photo of the old appliances they currently work with and at our next report we hope to send you a photo of their Cold Room.
You may never meet the seniors at San Pedro Claver, but they will be thanking all of you for meeting their needs.
