First Well Rehabilitation of the 2020-21 Season
Dear Friend,
Thank you—for stepping up, for bringing hope to the people that need it the most, and for sharing our vision of a South Sudan where every single person has access to clean water. Even with the onset of the COVID–19 pandemic, we were still able to drill 57 new wells, rehabilitate 48 older wells, conduct 13 hygiene education trainings, and distribute relevant COVID–19 information to more than 18,000 people. Because of you, we served more than 80,000 people during the 2019–20 operating season. We're proud to have you in our corner.
An update on the 2020–21 drilling season: Water for South Sudan just launched the 2020–21 operating season, and we've already rehabilitated seven of our older wells, with a goal of 50 rehabilitation, and drilled two new wells, with plans to drill 40 new wells this season. We've also conducted nine hygiene educations trainings.
Wishing you peace and good health for 2021,
~Water for South Sudan Team
