Project Overview:

Under the project Choti Choti Nekiyan Patient Care" project we were able  to provide essential healthcare services to people in remote areas of Astore, Gilgit. With the funds raised so far, we successfully organized a Mobile Health Unit to reach these underserved communities.

Activities Conducted:

1. Mobile Health Unit Deployment:

   • We set up a Mobile Health Unit equipped with basic medical supplies and staffed by a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.
   • The unit traveled to various villages in Astore, providing free consultations, medical check-ups, and distributing essential medicines.

2. Health Awareness Sessions:

   • Our team conducted awareness sessions on hygiene, nutrition, and disease prevention. These sessions were vital in educating the community on how to maintain better health.

3. Emergency Care:

   • We provided emergency medical care to patients who were unable to access healthcare facilities due to the remote nature of their locations.

Impact:

Future Plans:

While the $280 raised has allowed us to make a significant impact, the need in these communities is ongoing. We aim to continue and expand this initiative, reaching more remote areas and providing additional services such as maternal and child health care, vaccination drives, and regular follow-up visit
