This facility is not only addressing the community's need for a place of worship but also plays a pivotal role in educating future generations about Islamic values and teachings. Community Involvement
The local community of Torkhow has been actively involved in the rehabilitation process, from contributing ideas for the design to volunteering their time and labor. This sense of ownership is crucial for the long-term sustainability of the project.
Challenges
One of the primary challenges faced is the remote location of Torkhow, which delays the transportation of materials and increases construction costs. However, the partnership with UK Islamic Mission has been instrumental in overcoming these barriers, providing both financial and logistical support to ensure steady progress.
