Newsflash: Dr. Yacoobi  is one of BBC 100 Women 2017!

AIL publishes a magazine called Nida e Taleem. This was started as a response to  growing need, particularly from young people, for information on education, health, culture and other topics. The magazine is published twice a year. The editorial board held a meeting recently and reviewed the last publication looking for ways to improve its content. They decided to appoint a senior editor to oversee the next publication and resolved to follow all AIL policies. The content will include scientific, cultural, medical and literary topics. There are also sections with jokes, English lessons, and an article for children.

Dr. Yacoobi said, “I want the magazine to have articles about AIL activities and for great attention to be paid to correct grammar and spelling. These things are important. We want everyone to find something of interest in our magazine and also tell them about what AIL does.”

The board members were assigned responsibility for different topics.  The meeting also reviewed making a distribution plan for the magazine and following up on contacts who might be able to offer help with improving the publication.

Thank you for your continued support.

AIL is working towards:SDG Goal 4 – Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote lifelong learning opportunities for all.
