Over the last few months, we have been working intensively with a group of children from Syria who are in Bulgaria without their parents. Because of the war, most of them have never participated in a structured educational process before. We provide them with language and psychosocial support. They attend Bulgarian language lessons every week, as well as social skills classes. Through various creative activities, we offer them with a space to learn new things, explore their emotions, and ask questions. During the activities, the children often share their feelings and experiences, and talk about their wishes, dreams and future plans.
