The Afghan Institute of Learning seeks to empower the lives of women and children in Afghanistan, however there as been major setbacks of new restrictions that were signed by the newly form government that now resides in the country. One of the many new restrictions was the implication of not allowing girls go to school from grade seven up to university, which has cause many setbacks for AIL, however we have always overcome obstacles that fall in our path, such as Meraj Academy.
Meraj Academy has given thousands of women and children the ability to learn and follow their education on live television, which has given many women the advantage of staying at home and learning new skills and subjects just from the broadcasting station in Herat, Afghanistan.
One of the new subjects that will recently start is computer programming, as it will teach young individuals the importance of technology and coding, as technology gets more advance, Afghanistan as a country must be informed of all the things happening in the world as such.
