Recent Flash Floods in the Baghlan Province and surrounding villages were devastating.
Many women & children were in homes that were suddenly submerged in water, lives were lost. Several were injured, and most of any victims that survided were left with nothing. Homes were destroiyed, there was nothing left for recovery as villages became muddy burial grounds.
AIL quickly began emergency aid operations to assist those in need of tent shelters, food aid, and healthcare.
We are making progress in assisting these families and communities to rebuild all that has been lost.
