AIL stands ready to provide food aid if severe winter weather descends on Herat, Afghanistan. Winters are often harsh especially in January and February in Afghanistan and getting some extra food aid can make all the difference to struggling families. Families seek help at the AIL office or are referred from Learning Centers or other agencies. The distributions of food usually include, bread, oil, rice, dry beans and when possible meat.
People are always grateful for help and trust AIL to be there for them if times are hard.
Thank you for your continued interest and we hope you will read the annual newsletter attached.
