There are many poor Afghans who have a hard time making ends meet at the best of times, many of these have young children with them. When there is extreme weather or other natural disaster such as earthquake or flooding, AIL is able to help out by providing food aid such as oil, peas, legumes and rice. AIL continues to keep supplies and some money on hand for extraordinary disasters, in addition to harsh weather food aid.
AIL staff work with local community leaders to identify the families most in need of food aid.
Thank you for your support for needy Afghans.
