Many boys benefit from the programs offered by the Afghan Institute of Learning (AIL). When boys (or girls) do not have the money to pay for certain courses, like English, AIL offers them scholarships. The programs help boys like Ali Khodadad from following other paths:
Ali Khodadad is a boy who lost his father a few years ago. He is living with his uncle. He couldn’t afford to pay the fee for the English class at the AIL center so AIl gave him a scholarship. Now, he is registered in English class and is studying well; his teacher says he is very clever and really wants to learn English. He always thanks the director of this center who helps those who have a bad economic situation.
