The story of this student illustrates the benefit of AIL’s rural learning centers:
Hayida, one of the students of the AIL women’s learning center in our village, is the most successful girl with her lessons. She seriously studies her lessons and does her house work and in addition to her lessons, she sew clothes for the people and finds money for her family and she can buy shoes, clothes and stationery for her brothers and sisters. Her parents are proud of her efficiency and capability and they are so happy to see that their daughter is the most intelligent among all the students in the course. Hayida says, “Before I was in the course, I couldn’t dial a phone number but now I can study and I can account for the expenses of my family; also I encouraged my mother to study the literacy class.
