WE-CARE Foundation has been hard at work with Year Eight of the HIPPY Home Visiting Program. There are 273 familes with 277 chjildren enrolled in the program since February 2023. With funding from Comic Relief UUA, HIPPY Internation, GlobalGiving, and Friends of Liberia, WE-CARE has been able to complete important research work that has allowed them to look back at the students and adults enrolled in the programs over the past seven years and evaulate how they are doing as they move into the Liberian school system. We invite our GlobalGiving donors to take a look at our At-A Glance Report attached that has been assembled by the FOL-Education Tracking Sub-committee with the help of WE-CARE Foundation staff. The results show a definite impact that FAmily Literacy Initiative HIPPY is having in the five communities it serves in Liberia. WE-CARE is moving forward with your support to complete the tracking of the last two cohorts in the coming year. Thank you to our donors.
Project reports on GlobalGiving are posted directly to globalgiving.org by Project Leaders as they are completed, generally every 3-4 months. To protect the integrity of these documents, GlobalGiving does not alter them; therefore you may find some language or formatting issues.
